Privacy Policy & Terms of Use

What Buloke Realty collects through this portal, why, and who can see it. Last updated 4 September 2026 (version 2026-09-04).

What we collect

Records kept against your shareholder or lender relationship with Buloke, entered by our team or supplied by you directly:

  • Identity: full name, PAN, Aadhaar, date of birth, address, state and country.
  • Contact: mobile number, WhatsApp number, email address.
  • KYC documents you or our team have uploaded against your record.
  • Investment records: capital contributed, shares allotted, share certificates, dividends and distributions, and the dates you joined or exited a holding.
  • Transaction history: every payment in or out recorded against your name — investments, dividend payouts, TDS, refunds and transfers.
  • Lending records, where applicable: amounts advanced to or repaid by Buloke, and which projects they relate to.
  • Introductions you make through Referrals: the name of the person you are introducing, the mobile number or email you give us for them, anything you tell us about what they are looking for, and the outcome. Those are somebody else’s details rather than your own, so please introduce a person only where they are content to hear from Buloke.
  • Messages you send us: Founder Connect, an early-exit review request, and the enquiries the ecosystem cards raise — a BuildWorks consultation, a Frameworks interiors enquiry, a Compass introduction. They all reach the Founder’s Office.
  • Anything you choose to add to your own profile — photograph, role or position, category, specialisation, company or practice, city, a line about yourself, a LinkedIn address, a website, and a catalogue or brochure if you upload one.
  • What you write on the Buloke wall — your posts, your comments, and which posts you have liked. These carry your name and your photograph to every other shareholder, and they are not private.
  • Which notices and wall posts you have already opened, so the portal can stop showing you a badge for something you have read. Nothing else about how you move around the portal is recorded.

What we do not do

  • No advertising trackers, no analytics that profile you, no data sold to anyone.
  • What you hold, what you paid, and what you have been paid is never shown to another shareholder. Only Buloke’s own team sees that, on a need-to-know basis.
  • In a project you hold in, you can see every unit in it — which have sold, to whom, and at what price. The same is true the other way: the people who hold alongside you see your unit and its price. It is the one place in the portal a shareholder sees another person’s name against a number, it is deliberate, and it never happens in a project you are only browsing.
  • Know Your Bulokian lists every shareholder to every other shareholder, and it starts switched on — your name, and your email and phone, until you say otherwise. They are two separate switches in your profile, and turning the first one off leaves other members your name and a lock, nothing more.

Why we collect it

  • To administer your shareholding or lending relationship: allotments, distributions, statements and certificates.
  • To meet KYC, tax and regulatory obligations that apply to the underlying companies.
  • To respond to requests you raise — Founder Connect messages, early-exit reviews, referrals, Circuit bookings.
  • To show you an accurate record of your own participation, and nothing invented to fill a gap in it.

Who else touches it

Three services outside Buloke handle your data because the portal cannot work without them. None is given anything beyond what that job needs, and none is permitted to use it for their own purposes.

  • WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) — your mobile number and a six-digit code, whenever you sign in or reset a password, and any update you have opted in to receive. Meta’s own terms govern what passes through their network. If you would rather not receive anything beyond sign-in codes, leave the updates switch off in your profile.
  • Supabase — the database and document storage this portal runs on, hosted in Mumbai. Everything described above is stored there, encrypted, and reachable only by this application and Buloke’s own administrators.
  • Google Photos — the event albums under Gallery live there rather than here, and opening one takes you to Google. Photographs from Buloke events may include you. Ask us and we will have you taken out of an album.

Who can see it

Your ledger, your documents and what you have put in are visible to you and to Buloke team members whose role requires it — never to another shareholder. The one exception is the one described above: inside a project you hold in, the unit register names who bought which unit and at what price, and you appear in it to the others the same way they appear in it to you. Where this portal shows you figures about a project as a whole (capital raised, units sold, participant counts), those are aggregate numbers with no individual’s name or contact details attached.

How long we keep it

For as long as your shareholding, lending relationship, or a legal or tax obligation requires it. Company and financial records — share certificates, capital ledgers, the KYC behind them — are retained for the periods the Companies Act and the Income Tax Act require, which extends well beyond the life of a holding. That retention is not a preference of ours and is not something we can waive on request, which is why an erasure request below is answered in two parts: what has been erased, and what must be kept.

Your rights over your data

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Raise it here rather than by email — a request made here carries a reference, a date we have committed to, and a written answer you can keep.

Raising one of those requests means knowing whose record it is about, so it is done from inside the portal — sign in and open Privacy & Terms from the menu. If you do not have an account with us and believe we hold data about you, write to the officer named below and we will answer on the same terms.

Who is accountable, and by when

Pratap Sagar is Buloke’s grievance officer for data protection, and answers requests and complaints raised under this policy. Write to pratap@buloke.com. We answer within 7 days.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, which is your right under the Act and does not depend on our agreement.

If something goes wrong

If personal data held here is exposed or lost, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and every affected person without delay, describing what happened, what data was involved, what we have done about it, and what you can do. You will be told directly — by WhatsApp and email — rather than finding it in a notice on this page.

Terms of use

  • This portal is for your own use — sharing your login lets someone else see your holdings and documents.
  • Figures shown are based on Buloke’s internal records as at the date shown, and do not represent a guaranteed return or assured liquidity.
  • An introduction made through Referrals is exactly that — an introduction. Participation by the person introduced remains subject to Buloke’s own eligibility checks and process.
  • The wall is read by every shareholder. Write on it as you would speak in a room with all of them in it, and do not put another member’s contact details, holdings or private business on it. We will take down anything that does.
  • What you see about a project you hold in — who bought which unit, and for how much — is shown to you as a participant in it. It is not yours to pass on outside the portal.

This policy may be updated as the portal changes. Where a change materially affects what we collect or who can see it, you will be asked to read and agree again the next time you sign in.
